I've had numerous successful web sites in the past, each of them growing amorphous entities with social hooks, smart designs and broadly interesting content. The goal of this site is not to be cutting edge, social or even all that interesting. My intention here is to create something lasting - that I wish I had created back when I was 16.
Throughout my technology travels, I have accrued a wealth of information. So much information, in fact - that I can't even retrieve it all any more. Here, it is my intention to catalog the myriad of things that I learn - whether they're interesting or not, so that my future-self and others can benefit from what I've discovered.
I intend this not to be a blog, but a structured hyperlinked (ZOMG information superhighway!) collection of technical resources specifically focusing on UNIX administration and software development. A living and incredibly descriptive document to help my future-self and others along their travels towards grey-beardiness.
In the words of Deckard Cain; "Stay awhile, and listen."
